Get a compatible USB Wi-Fi adapter, sometimes called a USB Wi-Fi dongle, for the alignment computer.
Install the adapter on the aligner computer, connect to the workshop Wi-Fi network and confirm that the computer can access the internet.
Use the instructions for the installed SureAlign software version. Do not shut down the alignment computer.
Download and install TeamViewer on the alignment computer. Use the official TeamViewer software or the installer provided by an authorized TreadPlus support contact.
Launch TeamViewer and wait for the application to display the session ID and temporary password.
Provide the TeamViewer ID and temporary password to the authorized TreadPlus or regional support technician when the support session is ready to begin.
Exit to Windows
Begin from the SureAlign home screen. The exit password is provided through the authorized support channel and is not published on this page.
| Software version | Exit sequence |
|---|---|
| SureAlign V35, V45 and V55 | Press ESC once, then press F8. Enter the exit password when prompted. |
| Other versions | Press ESC twice. Some builds may use a different sequence; contact support if Windows does not appear. |
Session security
The TeamViewer password is temporary support information. Send it only to the authorized technician handling the case.
Keep the aligner powered on and remain available to operate the equipment or confirm workshop conditions when requested.
Any physical equipment movement must remain under the control of a qualified person at the workshop.
Close TeamViewer when support is complete, then reopen SureAlign or restart the alignment computer as directed.
Ready for remote support?
Include the aligner model, serial number, SureAlign version, country and a short description of the issue. Send the TeamViewer credentials only when the authorized technician is ready.
