1. Applicable coverage
TreadPlus is the global automotive workshop equipment brand of KJC Engineering Canada Inc.
Warranty coverage, duration, exclusions, and service procedures vary by product, region, distributor, and sales agreement. The applicable warranty is defined by the quotation, invoice, order confirmation, distribution agreement, product documentation, or written warranty policy supplied with the product.
A model-specific warranty shown on a product page is a general reference and does not replace the written coverage supplied for the order.
2. General exclusions
Unless the applicable written warranty states otherwise, coverage does not include:
- Consumable items and normal wear.
- Cosmetic damage, misuse, accidental damage, or environmental damage.
- Incorrect installation, incorrect calibration procedure, or failure to perform required maintenance.
- Unauthorized repair or modification.
- Unsuitable electrical supply or use outside the stated operating range.
- Transportation damage after accepted delivery, where applicable.
- Third-party software or accessories not supplied or approved for the product.
3. Warranty service
Warranty service may be provided by the selling distributor, an authorized service partner, or another designated service provider, depending on the market. Labour coverage, travel, freight, diagnostics, replacement-part procedures, and response time are defined by the applicable sales and service terms.
Keep the invoice and record the model, serial number, configuration, installation date, operating conditions, and a clear description of the issue. Do not perform unauthorized repair before receiving instructions.
